What is FSc Physiotherapy Technology?
Physiotherapy Technology trains you to restore movement and function without drugs or surgery. FSc Physiotherapy Tech at RCCS teaches therapeutic exercise prescription, electrotherapy modalities (ultrasound, TENS, IFT, SWD, paraffin wax bath, traction), manual therapy techniques (mobilization, massage, myofascial release), musculoskeletal assessment (range of motion, muscle strength, function scales), neurorehabilitation basics, cardio-pulmonary rehab, sports injury management, and gait training with assistive devices. The FBISE curriculum blends anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, and clinical practice.
This is a therapist-assistant qualification — you work under a licensed physiotherapist. But it is also the standard entry pathway to BS Physiotherapy (5-year) and DPT (5-year), where you become an independent licensed physiotherapist qualified to run private clinics and specialize in orthopedics, neurology, sports, pediatrics, or cardiopulmonary rehab.
