What is FSc Dispensing Technology?
Dispensing Technology is the bridge between the prescription and the patient. FSc Dispensing at RCCS teaches you to verify prescriptions, dispense medications accurately with proper labeling, counsel patients on how and when to take medicines, manage pharmacy inventory (ordering, storage, cold chain, expiry tracking), prepare extemporaneous compounds (ointments, mixtures, capsules, suppositories), operate pharmacy management software, maintain controlled drug registers (narcotics, psychotropics), and understand Pakistan’s pharmacy laws and ethics. The FBISE curriculum covers pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, human anatomy/physiology, and hospital pharmacy practice.
