Rules & Regulations
1. General Conduct and Discipline:
a. Students must maintain discipline inside the college and are prohibited from engaging in any activity that disrespects the teachers, staff, or other students.
b. All students must follow the dress code specified by the college administration.
c. The use of mobile phones during class hours is strictly prohibited.
d. Students are not allowed to consume any narcotics or alcoholic substances on the college premises.
e. Students must submit their assignments and other academic projects on time.
f. All students must strictly adhere to the academic calendar and attend all classes regularly.
2. Attendance:
a. Attendance is mandatory for all students.
b. A student must have at least 75% attendance each semester to be eligible to appear in examinations.
c. A student missing more than three lectures without informing the administration will face consequences such as detention, suspension, or termination of admission.
d. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the class after the first ten minutes of the commencement of the lecture.
3. Examinations:
a. All students must follow the procedural guidelines set out by the exam department.
b. Exam malpractices like cheating or plagiarism will lead to severe action, such as suspension or termination of admission.
c. Any kind of gadget (calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.) is strictly prohibited during the examination.
d. A student found using unfair means will result in the cancelation of the examination and initiate an inquiry.
4. Administrative:
a. All students must obtain written permission to go on leave from the head of their respective department.
b. Students are required to extend respectful behaviour to administrative staff members.
c. Transfer of admission will be permitted with the consent of the previous institution and the compliance of the college’s administrative policies.
5. Library:
a. Students are expected to utilize the library resources within the rules and regulations of the library.
b. Engaging in indecent activities in the library will lead to dire consequences.
c. All students must comply with the library policies, including borrowing periods, book return times, and fines.
7. Student Clubs:
a. Students are encouraged to form clubs established in the College, but they must obtain permission from the college administration.
b. The college administration reserves the right to terminate any club deemed offensive or harmful.
8. Disciplinary Actions:
a. Violation of any of the stated rules will result in disciplinary action.
b. Consequences could include detention, suspension or termination of admission.
9. Unforeseen circumstances:
a. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, the college administration reserves the right to amend or alter any regulation.
b. Any proposed amendments will only be implemented after deliberation with all stakeholders.
10. Complaints:
The College administration values student feedback and complaints. Any student who wishes to lodge a complaint can do so through the appropriate channels provided by the college administration.
